Digging a New Milestone
Bank of Florida (BOF) marked its 57th year through the groundbreaking and time-capsule laying ceremony of the BOF Corporate Center located along Jose Abad Santos Avenue (JASA), City of San Fernando, Pampanga (CSFP), on July 14, 2021.
BOF President and CEO Teresa David-Carlos led the ceremony together with the members of the board of directors of the bank.
“For us today, the word "Groundbreaking" stands for multiple meanings: It stands for the groundbreaking of the Bank of Florida's Corporate Center, which will be the new home of our Executive Offices, Corporate Support Offices, and a new Strategic Banking Unit. It stands for a new commercial destination not only in Pampanga but for the entire Central Luzon that will offer new products and services to our clients. It stands for the new opportunities that will help in providing jobs for our people. And it stands for the perseverance and dedication of the whole BOF Family as an institution that embodies excellence,” said David-Carlos.
The three-story corporate center will house the bank’s corporate offices and a new strategic banking unit. The BOF Corporate Center will also open new economic opportunities for both the city and its constituents.
“Our goal is not just to build a new corporate center, but to create an establishment wherein there are unlimited opportunities for professional and economic growth,” David-Carlos stated. “Our goal is not just to give our clients the feel of a new ambiance, but to provide the welcoming service that BOF has been known for,” she added.
BOF is one of the top 10 rural banks in Central Luzon and in the Philippines. The bank highlights a family-oriented approach in providing its banking services and products.
BOF has 20 branches in Central Luzon and continues to expand even during the pandemic. The bank aims to get closer to its goal of becoming a regional champion in the rural banking industry in the region by continuing to improve its products and services every year.
